Hey, there.
Just wanted to drop a quick line to update you all on a few things. First of all, book five is coming along nicely. I’m fairly sure I’ll be done drafting it by this weekend. I keep adding words and it keeps eating them. I know I said this book would be huge, and I wasn’t kidding. The total is currently at 224,000 words and getting bigger. There’s at least 10k more to add, maybe 15k. I don’t mind a big book if you don’t.
Does size matter? We’ll see.
Today, though, I’ve got something a little different for you. I’ve started a YouTube channel. That’s right–a YouTube channel. I’ll be posting there at least every Tuesday and Friday, and probably more once things get rolling. Currently I’ll be trying to get other authors and friends on to have beers and discuss fantasy things, from Game of Thrones to Divinity: Original Sin 2, and doing campaigns of Rome: Total War II.
We’re going to have a Total War Tuesday, so if you like strategy games or just want to watch a fun let’s play with yours truly manning the helm of this empire or that, tune in every Tuesday and join in the conquest! We’ll be starting tomorrow, taking the role of Macedon and making war on…pretty much everyone else. Because of course we are.

We’ll be doing something for Free Book Fridays as well, probably discussions on all things fantasy, beginning with a long discussion about Game of Thrones and whether the show is going downhill. One more thing–for those of you who’ve emailed me about increasing the font size in my emails, I’m on that like white on rice. I’ll be reworking them all to increase the readability, and they should be ready by this Wednesday. I’ve been slowly putting larger font-sizes into rotation, but it does take time. It should be good by the middle of week.
